Dandelion water: real benefits, safe recipe and precautions before drinking it.

This means there may be some interesting signs, but not enough to say that it “eliminates fluids,” “cleanses the kidneys,” “reduces inflammation,” or “cures” any problem.

It’s not a body cleanse.

One of the most dangerous claims is that dandelion water “cleanses the liver,” “cleanses the kidneys,” or “removes toxins.” The body already has organs responsible for processing and eliminating substances, primarily the liver, kidneys, intestines, lungs, and skin.

Drinking an infusion does not replace the work of those organs nor does it correct a liver, kidney, heart or metabolic disease.

If a person experiences severe bloating, infrequent urination, pain, high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar, or persistent fatigue, they should not attempt to resolve these issues with teas alone. Medical evaluation is necessary.
